  1. I worked with Bill through my role in public relations at ASHRAE. He was a great deal of fun to work with, and I very much enjoyed his blogging. My deepest sympathies to his family.

  2. I was shocked to hear that bill passed away. He was a great inspiration to me and many more in the BACnet community. It was great working with him and he had a big deal of humor. I last saw him at the European Plugfest in Germany in May. My deepest sympathy to the family, wish them all great strength in this difficult time. I will never forget you “Gandalf the white”.

I was very shocked to hear of Bill's passing. He was a leading light in the BACnet world and will be missed by many. I had the honour of meeting Bill on a couple of occasions and will remember him with fondness.

My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

  8. I've known Bill for many years. I always enjoyed the time he made for sharing a dinner or just passing time in conversation about building controls and life in general. I'll never forget his kind and contagious jovial nature. He touched a lot of lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all his many friends.

  9. I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill through the standards development process at ASHRAE. He was the kindest person I've met in my 8 years at ASHRAE. I had the pleasure of getting to know him personally and have some fond memories. The latest I'll treasure was our trip up the Sandia Mountains and talking about his trip to Midland, MI. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
